Upgrading to a different NAS
At present it´s configured in Raid 1, 2x1GB WD GP 24x7 discs. I am thinking of a Qnap model, either 2-bay or 4-bay (to make future upgrade to bigger discs more easy, and organize music and picture on separate discs). .... or flood damage ( in other words, have them at opposite ends of the house; preferably one of them in the least 'flammable' room, or even your cellar if it has a suitable environment) but still have the convenience of it being connected to the network. ...
