Leah's modeling career began with appearances in import car tuner magazines. Her mixed ethnic background of Chinese, French, and Filipino has given her an easily marketable look in Asia and especially Japan.

In 2006, Leah sent a demo tape to a talent agency in Japan, following the advice of her fans. Modeling work soon followed with photobooks, commercials, and her own album.

Her first single titled "Softly" was released on February 14, 2007.
